Shoreline wonders bring happiness, pleasure, joy, and contentment. As an artist, I feel a great responsibility to convey the message that we as human beings in the 21st century must sustain our environment. Our marine life and birds face unprecedented challenges due to climate change, yet their resilience and adaptation offer lessons for us all. By

studying and painting these vulnerable fish, mollusks, shellfish, and birds, I hope to preserve the awe of our planet’s atmosphere, oceans, rivers, and watersheds.

These works are reminders that the future of our world depends on both collective action and personal choices.
